Irvine to John Wayne (SNA) Car Service,
timed to your flight.
John Wayne is Irvine's airport: ten to fifteen minutes from almost anywhere in the city, so the ride is less about traffic and more about not dealing with the parking structure, the shuttle and the walk with the bags. Upfront price agreed before you book, a private luxury black SUV, and a pickup time counted back from your departure.
Fares may change without notice. The price you see in the booking search is the one we honor.
Your pickup time, counted back from the flight.
About 10 to 15 minutes from most of Irvine, 20 from Portola Springs and the Great Park, and a few more between 7 and 9 a.m., when MacArthur and the 405 ramps at the airport back up. These are the pickup times we plan around.
- Domestic flight — Pickup 2 hours before departure. John Wayne is a small airport: the drive is 15 minutes and security is usually quick, so two hours leaves time without waiting at the gate for an hour.
- International flight — Pickup 2 hours 30 minutes before departure, for the earlier check-in. SNA's international flights are few and use the same terminal, so the walk is short.
- Early morning — The first departures leave around 7 a.m. (SNA has a curfew). Before then the roads are empty; your chauffeur confirms the time the night before and is outside before the pickup minute.
- Peak hours, 7–9 a.m. and 4–6 p.m. — Add 10 minutes. MacArthur Boulevard near the airport and the 405 ramps at the 55 are the slow spots; from the Spectrum we take the 405 or Barranca depending on the morning.

Which way we go, and why.
Two ways in, depending on where in Irvine you start:
- MacArthur Boulevard — From Woodbridge, University Park, UCI and the Business Complex: straight up MacArthur to the airport loop. The direct one, and it avoids the freeway entirely.
- 405 → 55 → MacArthur — From the Spectrum, Northwood, Portola Springs and the Great Park: the 405 north to the 55, then one exit to MacArthur. About 20 minutes when the 405 is moving.
- Pickup anywhere in Irvine — Irvine Spectrum, UC Irvine and University Park, Woodbridge, Turtle Rock, Northwood, Portola Springs, the Great Park and the hotels along Jamboree and MacArthur, at the same upfront pricing.
- At John Wayne — We drop at the departures level of Terminal A, B or C, by your airline's doors. Tell us the airline when you book so the chauffeur stops at the right terminal; they are a short walk apart anyway.
