Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
R Y Quiroz Luxury LLC, doing business as RideYeah (“RideYeah”, “we”, “us”; California charter-party carrier permit TCP 41018-B), provides luxury ground transportation and airport transfer services in Los Angeles and Orange County, California. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
If you have any question about this policy, contact us at [email protected] or +1 (805) 660-6439.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers two groups:
- Passengers and customers who book transportation with us, directly or through a partner platform.
- Chauffeurs and drivers who work with RideYeah.
Where a section applies to only one group, it says so.
Information we collect
From passengers and customers
Your name, email address, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, flight number when the trip involves an airport, the date and time of your trip, and any notes you give us about the trip. Payment is processed by Stripe: you enter your card directly with Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number. When you book by phone or chat we may keep a card on file with Stripe, at your request, to charge the ride and any extras described in our Terms of Service.
From chauffeurs and drivers
Name, mobile phone number, email address, the vehicle and license plate assigned, and the record of the trips assigned to them.
From the RideYeah Chofer app (chauffeurs only)
Our chauffeur app is used only by drivers who work with RideYeah, never by passengers. When a chauffeur uses it we collect:
- Location. While a trip is in progress the app sends the chauffeur’s position to our dispatch system, including in the background, so the office and the passenger can follow the ride and see the estimated arrival. Location is not collected when no trip is active, and the chauffeur can turn the permission off in the phone settings.
- Photos and documents. A profile photo, the driver’s license and the documents we are required to keep on file (for example a W-9 or proof of insurance), which the chauffeur chooses to upload from the camera or the gallery.
- Trip activity. Which trip offers were accepted, the status of each trip (on the way, arrived, passenger on board, completed) and the time of each step, plus the earnings shown in the app.
- Notifications. A device token so we can send push notifications about trip offers and assignments.
This information is used only to dispatch trips, pay chauffeurs and keep the records the law requires. It is not sold and is not used for advertising. A chauffeur can ask us to delete their account and data at any time by writing to [email protected].
Automatically, when you visit our website
Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.
Our website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which records that you visited the site and which actions you took — for example starting a booking — and sends that to Meta so we can measure and target our advertising. Meta may combine it with information it already holds about you. You can limit this in your Meta account settings and through your browser’s ad and cookie controls.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where they are located, and when they click through to our booking system. Google sets cookies to do this and receives that information as our service provider. We do not send Google your name, email address or phone number. You can opt out for every website you visit with Google’s browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings.
Cookie choice. The first time you visit we ask whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel do not load until you choose “Accept all”; if you choose “Essential only” the site works the same and neither tool runs. Your choice is remembered in your browser and you can change it by clearing the site’s data.
“Do Not Track” signals. Our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals, because there is no common standard for how to interpret them. Use the cookie choice above or your browser’s controls instead.
Emails we send you
Booking confirmations, payment links, receipts and follow-up emails contain a small invisible image (a tracking pixel) that tells us whether and when the email was opened. We use this only to know that a confirmation or payment request reached you and to follow up if it did not. You can prevent it by turning off automatic image loading in your email program.
How we use it
- To arrange, provide and complete the transportation you booked.
- To contact you about a specific trip — for example, to confirm a pickup or tell you about a delay.
- To assign trips to a chauffeur and contact that chauffeur about the trips assigned to them.
- To keep records required for accounting, insurance and tax purposes.
- To respond to your questions and support requests.
Virtual assistant, phone calls and chat
Calls to +1 (805) 660-6439 and chats on this website, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram are answered by “Sofia”, a virtual assistant powered by artificial intelligence. Sofia quotes prices, takes reservations and answers questions; a person from our team can join or take over the conversation at any time, and you can ask for a person whenever you like.
- Phone calls are recorded and transcribed. We tell you at the start of the call. The recording and transcript are used to take your booking correctly and to check the quality of the service.
- Chats are saved, together with the phone number or account name of the channel you used, for the same purposes.
- These conversations are processed for us by the following providers, each only to provide its part of the service: Retell AI (conversation engine), ElevenLabs (voice), Twilio (telephony and SMS) and Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram messaging). None of them may use your conversation for their own purposes.
- Retention. Call recordings are kept for up to 90 days. Transcripts and chat histories are kept while the related reservation, and any dispute or chargeback about it, is open, and are then deleted or anonymised as part of our routine clean-up.
- Deletion. You can ask us to delete a recording, transcript or chat at any time by writing to [email protected] with the phone number or channel you used and the approximate date. We will confirm once it is done, unless we are required to keep it for an open dispute or by law.
Text messages (SMS)
Passengers. When you give us your mobile number to book, we send transactional text messages about your ride: booking confirmation, a link to your reservation or payment, notice that your chauffeur is on the way or has arrived, changes to the pickup, and receipts. These are not marketing messages.
Chauffeurs. We send operational text messages to our own chauffeurs about the trips assigned to them: reminders to update a trip’s status, and questions about whether a passenger has boarded. Chauffeurs agree to receive these messages when they are onboarded to work with RideYeah.
- Message frequency varies and depends on your bookings or, for chauffeurs, on the trips assigned to them. There is no fixed number of messages per week or month.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to stop receiving messages. If you opt out we will contact you by phone call or email about your ride instead; for chauffeurs, opting out does not affect the work relationship with RideYeah.
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
We do not share or sell mobile numbers
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected for text messaging are used only by RideYeah to contact that person about their own trips.
Mobile numbers are shared with our messaging provider (Twilio) only to the extent needed to deliver the message itself. No other sharing takes place.
Who else sees your information
We share information only with the providers we need in order to operate:
- Stripe — to process payments. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see the card number.
- Twilio — to deliver the text messages and phone calls described above.
- Retell AI and ElevenLabs — to run and voice our virtual assistant Sofia, as described above.
- Meta Platforms — to carry chats on WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram when you contact us there.
- AeroDataBox — receives only your flight number and date so we can follow the landing and adjust your pickup.
- Google Maps — receives the pickup and drop-off addresses to look up locations, distances and routes for your quote and your chauffeur’s navigation.
- Our email provider — to send confirmations and receipts, including the open-tracking pixel described above.
- Chauffeur partner platforms (for example Blacklane) when a trip comes to us through them, limited to what the trip requires.
- The chauffeur assigned to your trip, who receives your name, pickup and drop-off locations, and flight number when applicable.
- Meta — website activity, as described above.
- Google — website activity, through Google Analytics, as described above.
We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the safety of a passenger, a chauffeur, or the public.
We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep trip records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet accounting, insurance and tax obligations. Call recordings are kept for up to 90 days; transcripts and chats are kept while the related reservation and any dispute about it are open (see “Virtual assistant, phone calls and chat” above). Website analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Meta.
Your choices
- Stop text messages: reply STOP to any message from us.
- Access, correct or delete your information, including call recordings, transcripts and chats: write to [email protected] and we will respond.
- Cookies: choose “Essential only” in the cookie notice, or clear the site’s data in your browser to be asked again.
- California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. To exercise them, contact us at [email protected].
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and post the new version on this page. If the change materially affects how we use information we already hold about you, we will also show a notice at the top of this page for 30 days and, where we have your email address and an open reservation, tell you by email.
