Irvine to LAX Car Service,
timed to your flight.
Irvine to LAX is one freeway, the 405 north, and that freeway is the whole story: 55 minutes when it is clear and well past 90 when it is not. Fixed fare agreed before you book, a private luxury black SUV, and a pickup time counted back from your departure, not from a guess.
Fares may change without notice. The price you see in the booking search is the one we honor.
Your pickup time, counted back from the flight.
About 55 minutes with clear roads and 90 minutes or more between 6 and 9 a.m. and again from 3 to 7 p.m., when the 405 through Costa Mesa and the Long Beach stretch fill at the same time. These are the pickup times we plan around, counting back from your departure.
- Domestic flight — Pickup 3 hours before departure. That covers the drive, the drop on the upper level of your terminal and the security line without running.
- International flight — Pickup 3 hours 45 minutes before departure. Tom Bradley (TBIT) checks in earlier and the walk from the curb is longer.
- Red-eye or early morning — Before 5 a.m. the 405 is empty and the drive holds at 40 to 45 minutes. Your chauffeur confirms the time the night before and is outside before the pickup minute.
- Peak hours, 6–9 a.m. and 3–7 p.m. — Add 35 to 45 minutes. The 405 north from Irvine is slow from the 55 to the 605, and the 105 into the airport adds its own queue. Leaving on the usual schedule in this window is how people miss flights.

Which way we go, and why.
Three ways out of Irvine, and your chauffeur checks them before the pickup, not while driving:
- 405 north → 105 west — The direct one. Up through Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley and Long Beach, then the 105 straight into LAX. Fastest whenever the 405 is moving.
- 55 → 22 → 405, or the 73 toll road — The way around when the 405 is stopped near the 55. The 22 cuts across Garden Grove; the 73 toll road skips the Costa Mesa stretch and joins the 405 further north. The toll is included in the fare.
- Pickup anywhere in Irvine — Irvine Spectrum, UC Irvine and University Park, Woodbridge, Turtle Rock, Northwood, Portola Springs, the Great Park and the corporate campuses along Jamboree and in the Irvine Business Complex, at the same fixed pricing.
- At LAX — We drop at your airline's terminal on the upper level (departures). Tell us the airline when you book so the chauffeur takes the right ramp instead of circling.
