Ojai to LAX Car Service,
timed to your flight.
Ojai has no freeway. Every trip to LAX starts with the two lanes of the 33 down the valley to Ventura, and that stretch is why this is the longest run in the county — about 95 minutes clear, with no way around it. Fixed fare, private luxury black SUV, and a pickup time counted back from your departure.
Fares may change without notice. The price you see in the booking search is the one we honor.
Your pickup time, counted back from the flight.
About 95 minutes with clear roads and up to two and a half hours in the morning peak. The first fifteen miles are the ones nobody plans for: the 33 is a two-lane road through Mira Monte, Oak View and Casitas Springs, and one slow truck sets the pace for everybody behind it.
- Domestic flight — Pickup 4 hours 30 minutes before departure.
- International flight — Pickup 5 hours before departure.
- Red-eye or early morning — Before 5 a.m. the 33 is empty and the whole drive holds near 85 minutes. This is the good hour to leave Ojai.
- Peak morning, 6–9 a.m. — Add 50 to 60 minutes. The 33 backs up first, then the Conejo grade and the Sepulveda Pass.
- Sunday checkout — The valley empties between 10 a.m. and noon and the 33 slows with it. For a Sunday afternoon flight, leave before ten.

Which way we go, and why.
There is only one way out of the valley, so everything is decided before the pickup:
- 33 south to Ventura — Two lanes through Mira Monte, Oak View and Casitas Springs. No shortcut, no alternative, and nowhere to pass for most of it.
- 101 south from Ventura — Along the coast, inland at Oxnard, then Camarillo and the Conejo grade.
- 101 → 405 — Over the Sepulveda Pass, or around by the 90 to Marina del Rey when the pass is stopped.
- Pickup across the valley — Downtown Ojai and the Arcade, Meiners Oaks, Mira Monte, Oak View, Upper Ojai and the East End.
- Leaving from a neighbouring city? — Each one has its own page and its own timing: Ventura to LAX, Oxnard to LAX and Camarillo to LAX.
- At LAX — Drop at your airline's terminal on the upper level; tell us the airline when you book.
