Newport Beach to LAX Car Service,
timed to your flight.
Newport Beach starts on the coast and has to climb to a freeway before the trip really begins — the 73 from Newport Coast, or PCH and the 55 from the peninsula. Fixed fare agreed before you book, a private luxury black SUV, and a pickup time counted back from your departure.
Fares may change without notice. The price you see in the booking search is the one we honor.
Your pickup time, counted back from the flight.
About 55 minutes with clear roads and 90 minutes or more in the morning and afternoon peaks, once the 405 through Costa Mesa and Long Beach fills. Where you start in Newport changes the first fifteen minutes: the peninsula and Balboa Island are a slow crawl to the freeway, Newport Coast is on the 73 almost at once.
- Domestic flight — Pickup 3 hours before departure. That covers the drive, the drop on the upper level of your terminal and the security line without running.
- International flight — Pickup 3 hours 45 minutes before departure, for the earlier check-in at Tom Bradley (TBIT).
- Red-eye or early morning — Before 5 a.m. the whole run is clear and the drive holds at 40 to 45 minutes. Your chauffeur confirms the time the night before.
- Peak hours, 6–9 a.m. and 3–7 p.m. — Add 35 to 45 minutes. The 405 from the 55 to the 605 is the slow stretch, and on a summer weekend PCH through Corona del Mar and the peninsula adds its own ten minutes before the freeway.

Which way we go, and why.
Two ways up to the 405, and your chauffeur picks one before the pickup:
- 73 → 405 → 105 — From Newport Coast, Corona del Mar and the Fashion Island side: up the 73 toll road, onto the 405 north past the Costa Mesa merge, then the 105 into LAX. The toll is included in the fare.
- PCH → 55 → 405 → 105 — From the peninsula, Lido and the harbor: along Pacific Coast Highway to the 55, north to the 405 and on to the 105. The way the locals leave the peninsula.
- Pickup across Newport Beach — The Balboa Peninsula and Balboa Island, Lido Isle, Corona del Mar, Newport Coast and Pelican Hill, Fashion Island and Newport Center, and the hotels along Pacific Coast Highway, at the same fixed pricing.
- At LAX — We drop at your airline's terminal on the upper level (departures). Tell us the airline when you book so the chauffeur takes the right ramp instead of circling.
